The site as it works today

This notice describes information used by the current Motel Angel website. You can browse photographs and products and save items in a bag. Checkout is disabled: the site does not currently collect payment-card or checkout delivery details or submit manufacturing orders. Customer accounts, newsletter sign-ups and online contact forms are not currently offered. We will update this notice before introducing features that change these practices.

Information and where it comes from

Saved bag: your browser stores selected product and variant identifiers, quantities and a saved retail price. This helps restore your bag and identify price changes when you return. These selections are not a completed order.

Website visits: loading pages and resources involves technical information such as your IP address, browser headers, requested pages and request times. Our website server records request paths, methods, response statuses and timing for operation and troubleshooting.

Published-site analytics: Replit provides a traffic-measurement script that sends the visited page address, page title, referring page, site hostname, browser language and screen size to its analytics service. Page addresses can include query strings and fragments. This helps measure site usage. The site has no added advertising pixels or custom marketing trackers.

Email: if you email us, we receive your email address and any name, message, order details, photographs or attachments you choose to provide. We use that information to answer questions, handle item or return issues and respond to privacy requests. Please do not email card details or passwords.

Hosting, images, fonts and other services

The website is hosted by Replit and its infrastructure providers, which process technical traffic information to deliver the site, support security and reliability, and provide operational and usage measurements.

Our server reads product catalog information from Printify. This catalog connection does not submit your saved bag as an order. Approved product images are delivered through our website from Printify’s image servers; your browser does not need to contact Printify for those images. Website fonts load from Google Fonts. Font requests disclose network and browser information, such as your IP address, browser headers and, depending on browser settings, a referring site address, to that provider.

Email communications involve email service providers. If you follow the Instagram link or another external link, that service receives your visit and applies its own privacy practices. These providers may process information in countries other than yours, under their own policies and applicable requirements.

Cookies and browser storage

The bag uses local storage in your browser rather than a customer account. It remains on that browser until you remove items, clear website storage, or your browser removes it. Clearing storage removes the saved bag.

Replit hosting uses an essential routing cookie, called GAESA, to direct requests to the published website. The current app does not set an advertising cookie. Browser privacy settings can restrict cookies or external requests, but doing so may affect the bag, fonts, images or other site functions.

Retention and security

The saved bag follows the browser-storage behavior described above. Correspondence retention depends on the purpose of the conversation, whether an issue is ongoing, and applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. Hosting and analytics records are subject to the relevant providers’ operational retention policies.

We use reasonable safeguards for the information we handle, including encrypted website connections and keeping catalog access credentials on the server rather than in the browser. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests and questions

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Email hello@motelangel.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. You can also remove bag items or clear the site’s browser storage yourself. Please contact us with any privacy concerns.

Updates

The date on this page identifies this version of the notice. If features or information practices change, we will update the notice here. Future checkout, payment, account or newsletter services are not described as active features in this version.
